教學目標
Exercise is Medicine is not only a slogan but a public health policy of many governments nowadays. The health benefits that regular and proper exercise caused include: 1. Promoting physical functions, delaying aging, and preventing cancers and metabolic syndrome; 2. Establishing self-concept, regulating psychological stress, and improving mental recognition; 3. Decreasing social medication cost, promoting team spirits, and elevating citizens’ wellness. Thus, in this one-semester course, the following 5 topic will be focused on: Definition and relationships of exercise and health, Fitness assessment and exercise prescription, exercise nutrition and body weight management, exercise safety and trauma preventing, and behavior change theories and strategies.
