教學目標
This course aims to help students develop effective paragraph and short essay writing skills. Students will write something every week in response to a writing or reading task assigned according to the course topic. By the end of the academic year, students are expected to be able to (1) develop and organize their ideas while producing accurate and appropriate writing on a selected range of topics/modes, (2) analyze and present a sustainable argument with a critical eye in the respect of the content, the organization, the sentence structure/grammar, the vocabulary/spelling, the unity/cohesion, and the format of their writing, (3) improve their writing skills through revising, editing, and correcting their own work as well as providing feedback to each other’s work.
