教學目標
In this course, students will be given opportunities to develop the skills relating to the design of a coherent & rewarding plot, effective characters, and delivering facts in ways that grab a reader's interest. During each semester, there will be a number of short homework assignments, but most of the grade will depend on a short work (ca. 5 pages) due at the end of each semester. During the first semester, we will focus on fiction, and each student will be expected to write a short story in English. During the second semester, the focus will be on creative ways of writing non-fiction, and each student at the end of the semester will be expected to turn in an essay.

教學目標
藉由閱讀地日本故事、地方傳說，引導學生了解日本的風俗民情、地名的由來及日本人的思想與日本文化的特色。並藉由句子的分析，解讀文章，讓學習者可運用基本句型並解讀短文，且藉著朗誦故事中，自然地學習日語優美的發音。 First, by reading the story of Japan, local legends, I want to educate students to understand the customs of Japan, the origin of Japanese place names, the Japanese thoughts and culture. Second, by analyzing the sentences and interpreting the articles, I want to educate students to use basic sentences and interpret essays. Third, by reciting the story, I want to let students learn graceful Japanese pronunciation naturally.
